  • Message content you send to Bossman, including job logs and project updates.
  • Project data you create in Bossman (hours, mileage, expenses, delays, and change order details).
  • Technical metadata such as timestamps, IP addresses, and message delivery status.

3. How We Use Information

We use data to:

  • Provide the Bossman service and process inbound texts.
  • Log project records and generate requested summaries.
  • Verify sender identity and help prevent abuse or unauthorized access.
  • Improve reliability, safety, and product performance.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. SMS and Messaging Providers

Bossman uses third-party messaging providers, including Twilio, to send and receive SMS. Message content and metadata are processed by these providers as part of delivery. Carrier messaging rates and fees may apply.

You are responsible for obtaining consent from workers, contractors, and other users you invite to text Bossman.

5. AI Processing

Bossman may use AI providers to interpret inbound messages and prepare requested responses. We configure AI behavior to support project logging workflows, but AI output may occasionally be incorrect. You should review critical financial or legal records before relying on them.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run Bossman (such as hosting, messaging, and AI vendors) or when legally required.

7. Data Retention and Security

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data, but no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

8. Your Choices

  • You may update account data in your Bossman account.
  • You may request account closure by contacting us.
  • Standard carrier keywords such as STOP may disable SMS from supported channels.
